FLUID WATER THERAPY AND NYC
Fluid Water Therapy is located in NYC’s vibrant Flatiron District. With over 30 years of combined experience and more than 100,000 administered therapies; our therapist are top of the line. All of our therapists are I-ACT certified and most are NBCHT certified. Our clinic directors also hold the highest level of training as Certified Colon Hydrotherapy Instructors as well as Doctors of Naturopathy. These are important credentials for ANY patient looking for colonics, as the state of New York does not regulate the practice of colon hydrotherapy. Unfortunately, most colonic centers in New York are operated by individuals who have no formal training on the human body or its detoxification pathways. Our clinics count with modern state-of-the-art equipment and the cleanest facilities in New York.
HYGIENE
Hygiene is our utmost priority here at Fluid Water Therapy. The water used during our therapies is filtered by a six stage, carbon filtration system and then disinfected with two ultraviolet lights. All equipment used during the colonic session is sterilized and disposable. Our protocol for disinfection exceeds FDA guidelines by using Tersano’s patented, SAO™ dispenser which creates Stabilized Aqueous Ozone™.

At Fluid Water Therapy our foremost priority is your health. That is why we only use FDA-registered equipment and sterilized, disposable rectal nozzles for colonic therapy. YOUR FIRST VISIT
During your first visit to Fluid, you will be asked to complete a health history form in our relaxing waiting room. This information will help us determine any pre-existing health issues and understand your wellness goals. After the health history form is completed, you will be led to a private room where a therapist will review your health information with you and explain how our colon hydrotherapy open system works.

OUR COLONICS SYSTEM
Our system helps eliminate waste (toxins) and stimulate the digestive system. Our colon hydrotherapy system provides a safe, comfortable, and hygienic colonic experience by ensuring that the water temperature is maintained between 99 and 103 degrees — the optimal range for effective intestinal cleansing. In the process of colon cleansing gravity fed filtered water is inserted into colon and it slightly stimulates natural muscular contraction, consequently eliminating waste.. After the session is over the client is instructed to stay seated in order to release any residual water. Each session lasts between 30 to 40 minutes. After the session is over the client can now drain comfortably on the ergonomic basin, sitting up erect or leaning back in a lounge position to fully drain the colon. When finished, the client can rinse off using the basin sprayer. The client can then towel dry before dressing and leaving the privacy of the colon irrigation room. Rest sure that your session will be conducted in a private, confidential and comfortable setting.

SAFETY
The AOW system’s tank is controlled by a water mixing valve. The water temperature is properly maintained between 99 and 103 degrees and is monitored by a temperature gauge. The temperature sensor will immediately shut off the water flow should the temperature ever rises above 103 degrees.
The water flow is activated after the client has comfortably positioned themselves on the basin’s cushioned backrest and inserted the nozzle into the rectum. The water flow can be stopped at any time. The tank line has a backflow prevention valve that prevents water from flowing back into the client’s rectum. Our colonic equipment utilizes gravity-controlled pressure from an elevated water tank. The procedure can be stopped at any time.
